Kevin and I chilled at home tonight and watched a Most haunted places show on TV. We got a few groups of Trick or Treaters, but not that many. I was disappointed cause I bought the good candy... Reeses, Payday.... you know chocolate... the good stuff. Heck with that candy corn, or nerds assortment pack.. we went all out. Hersheys and name brand bars for us! So, we have some left over, guess its all for me then!
So in the spirit of Halloween, here is a site with pictures of ghosts... ooOOoooOOoOOoOOOooo... real ones too. This is the best site for ghost pics I think, I couldn't post the pictures because they are copywritten and won't let me save the pics, so I'll let you browse as you will... enjoy!

Who's Next?
I asked that question in Josie's blog when a classmate of hers hilled himself.. I explained that I've lost 5 of my classmates already, the shock wears off after a while, and instead of saddness, you start askig who's next...
Tanya was my best friend from 1st grade to 7th when she moved to a town 30 miles away with a different school. We even had a best friend symbol with the letters of our first names. Then we lost touch when she moved... and in High School, she started dating Jory, so I got to see her again. Just yesterday I was thinking of her cause I heard her sister on the radio. "Whatever happened to her?"
Tanya died in a car accident yesterday. She was on her way home (she lives in Colorado now) and she was going too fast on a road under construction. Her car went into the lake and was found yesterday morning. 20 miles away from her parents house in Leeds. I'm really sad :(
Janelle knew her too cause she moved to Leeds where Janelle went to school. you can read more about her on Janelle's blog.
I was wrong. the shock doesn't wear off, when you know the person well.... it still hurts just as much as ever.

U 2 WHO?
So my bosses daughter Alexis, a bubbly 17 year old blond socialite, has dicovered the wonders of Kazaa. So, she has downloaded a lot of music onto the computer at work. Mostly country... ew, I digress, last weekend she went to a Brad Paisley concert, and now she's hooked on concert going. She was looking on TicketMaster and saw that U2 was coming to Minneapolis soon. "Who is U2?" she asks. I about shit my pants. I don't particularily care for U2 myself... but come on... is todays youth so brainwashed with songs like "milkshake and lumps (or whatever that stupid B.E.P. song is...) that they don't even get to KNOW who U2 is?!
When I was in high school, we weren't allowed to "dirty dance" IE: touch eachother anywhere except shoulders and hips for slow dancing only. Now they're bumpin' and grindin' and rubbin' and its like a regular night club for these kids. WOW... HOLD IT... did I just get old... just now... I think I'm getting a wrinkle... oh god.
On a different topic... in the Daily Journal today, I read that there is an organization running this thing called "the Christmas Box" where you get a shoe box and fill it with things for Children in 3rd world countries. They suggest things like soap, toiletries, washclothes, toys that make noise and move around (with extra batteries of course), pens, pencils, solar power calculators... etc.. but they causion to leave out parishable food items, war-like toys like GI joes, squirt guns, you can't put any liquids like perfume, body wash, candels, you get the point. The thing they say to begin your box with is a prayer (and they list a special bible quote to put in there)
okay, the concept of giving to needy children, a plus. Sending these gifts on a holiday most of them don't believe in... minus. Excluding any non-Christians from GIVING the boxes... hm.. MINUS!!
I'm all for Missionaries... they help a lot. and I'm Catholic... so.. you know.. yay God, but I don't think they really thought this whole Christmas giving thing through too well.... What do you think?
I guess that is one way to get LOTS of people to give to the poor, but still something about it seemed funny to me.

ho hum
I'm bored. Amber called and we couldn't think of anything to do, so we're both basically just sitting at our respective homes being bored out of our mind. Living in such a suck-ass town (sorry but it is) No, wonder we have one of the highest meth labs per capita.... people are bored what else do they have to do... I can almost see where they're coming from. At least when I was younger and living here we could entertain ourselves by simply hanging out, listening to the Cranberries, and going for walks by the tracks. Or driving around Main Street a billion times pulling people into the parking lot to talk... or hanging out on the step of the Old Post Office. There is no Youth Orginization in town so there is nothing for young people to do...so they have to find stuff to do. Now that I'm older, there REALLY isn't anything to do. No clubs, no chain restaurants, only one theatre with three screens playing movies that came out three weeks ago, the only places open past 11pm are McDonalds DRIVE THRU, and Holiday gas station. That is is, no exhagerating. Oh, except now the bars are allowed to be open until 2am, instead of 1am.... too bad parking uptown ends at 1am still.... which means if you stay at the bar til 2am, you're gonna get a parking ticket... tricky little bastards. The bowling alley has open bowling from 9:30-midnight.... hm.... um.. no.
I think I might start scrapbooking.
I'm still really liking my job, right now I'm designing a poster for the Lake Region State College Basketball, its actually fun, and I'm honing up on my photoshop skills to get ready for Senior graduation announcemnets. I'm also learning a lot about framing, and the mat cutter thing is really fun, call me a nerd, but I think its neat seeing how mats and frames and a peice of glass make any photo or poster look 100% more professional and beautiful.
ANyway, Amber just called and we have a date, so I'll talk to ya later.

Weekend update
Doug, Karissa and Isabella came to town so we had a fun filled weekend! Friday night, the boys were going to practice, but Amadon and Josie didn't have a babysitter for Case so they didn't practice, so Doug, Karissa, Amber, Butto, Kevin and I decided to chill at our place for the evening. It was a lot of fun, and Amber modeled for me and I got some cute pics of her. On Saturday I relaxed all day on the couch, and did absolutely NOTHING. I didn't shower until about 5 pm, and the only reason I did that is because Doug and Karissa were coming by. Amadon called at 8:45 and said they found a sitter for Case so if the boys wanted to jam for a while they could. we met Josie, Amadon and Adele and the boys had a really productive jam session. They wrote almost an entire song and I think it is one of my favorites so far. In fact I've had it in my head on and off all day.
Adele is sooooo cute! I got to hold and feed her, I'm hooked. Now don't be thinking she was in the same darn room as the boys were. She was upstairs and slept through almost the whole thing.
Today Kevin and I went to Doug's Dad's and watched Green Bay get their asses handed to them on a platter. Took um' a while, but the Vikings finally pulled through after half time. Kevin is a GB fan and Karissa is hardcore Vikings fan, so it makes things interesting. Tom made awesome pork chops, potatos, beans and squash (mmm I love squash) and it was a really relaxing kind of day. The only thing on my to do list this weekend was laundry and thats what I'm gonna do now. It was really nice to have such a nice slow weekend. We did stuff but it was all layed back and relaxing. Next weekend I work in GF again (hopefully my last trip for a while)

Blinking Curser
I sat here and thought of things to write... then I decided that I'm thinking too deeply right now to the point that if I even try to say what I want to say... it won't sound nearly as passionate as I want it to, so I sat here, staring at the stupid blogger post page at the blinking curser, and I decided to not write anything at all. And that is my post. Cause I just wanted to post something and this is all that came out. How sad.
I was going to go off on some ideas I had for photography and all the different things I want to do... but it would have sounded really stupid, and I'm just getting my hopes up anyway, cause I can't do the things I want to do. Here's the site that inspired me for the past hour or so. Brandi posted it on her site and I went to it... and this guy is amazing. I love his work, and I wish I could be as good as he is, cause he is briliant, and one of the most unique and creative photographers I have ever seen.

I should probably warn you that there is nudity... in artistic form, of course, but nudity non the less... That, by the way is not his stuff I particularily care for.

When the time is right
Of course I want to be a Mommy. I'm not going to hide my jealousy I have toward Karissa, Josie, Liz, and Janelle. I can't wait until I'm a mommy, I'm tired of people asking "when" and "why not now" and all those other things you hear after being married for 2 years. (who am I joking, I got that on my wedding day) I know people are just excited for me and with me and all that stuff, and I know they don't mean anything by it, just starting a conversation. It's just that people should know that we'll have a baby when we're ready to have a baby. When the credit card is paid off, when we catch up on Student loans, when I'm more committed to eating right, when we can afford a bigger house, when we have a more reliable vehicle, when we take our last vacation as just a couple, when I learn to cook better, when we can keep our coffee table clean, when the kitten learns how to flush the toilet..... just when.... when the stars align with Jupiter and one small strong swimmer decides its time to swim the extra lap....
Some of the girls I graduated with have 3 kids... Some of the girls I graduated with have CAREERS... you know the kind you GO TO SCHOOL FOR! Some even have both. I've been with Kevin for a whole DECADE, I went to college and got a degree, I don't have a career, or a baby, but I married a doctor... I guess I broke even.
Kevin and I joke tha I have horrible luck, while he oooooozes it from every poor. I stain or rip my new clothes, I hurt myself, I break things, I don't win at things, I have horrible days where everything goes wrong... I have those often. Every time I go to the doctor, they find somethign wrong with me and I have to have sergery (7 or 8 in all now) My plans never follow through, I get excited for things, and then for some reason they don't happen... my theory is that a person only gets so much luck when they are born... you only get so many chances to use... well I used all my luck with getting Kevin. He took all my luck and my chances. Thats okay though, cause I consider myself VERY lucky to have found him cause he is the best husband anyone can ever have. I just hope there is some luck left in me for babies. Maybe since half the baby will be Kevin, then we can use some of his luck to have a baby.... when the time is right.
I'm so happy for Amadon and Josie though, they are so happy. Josie is one of the most patient people I know and has the potential to be SUPERMOM! She is big on educating her kids and Josie has honorable morals to pass on too. I can't wait to see the baby again, she seems so smart and full of life already. Good luck guys!

YAY! Adele is BORN!
Amber JUST called me, Josie delivered by Csection and they are now the very proud parents of Adele (Pronounced Adela) no middle name yet Faul. YAY! I don't have the weight or anything because I don't think Amber knew yet. Josie is doing as well as she can be after sergery and thats all I have for you right now.
I'm going to grand forks for the next three days, so I don't get to see much of the baby, but I'm sure Amber will have pics on her blog soon.

birthing looks like it sucks
as of 9pm, Josie has still not had the baby. We just left the hospital as her drugs finally kicked in strong, and she began feeling contractions. I feel so bad, watching her go through that pain, and only to know that those contractions are nothing compared to what she'll be feeling in about an hour. When we first got there at around six thirty, she was walking and laughing and haning out, but now her contractions are stronger closer together. We left as the doctor was about to come in and see if it is close to "go time".
Amber and Sam are with her (and of course Amadon) and her Grandma and Dad are probably on their way back to the hospital now. I just felt like that was enough people to have with her right now. Kevin and I decided to leave to give her more room and privacy and we would have been booted out of the room within the next hour or so anyway. Amber and Sam have been very good friends with Josie forever and they'll do a great job at helping her feel as comfortable as possible. They are going to call as soon as the baby arrives, even if it is 3am, so I'll post quick in the AM before I go to work on all the baby info.
On a completely different note: Tonight while we were on our way to the hospital, Butto called my cell and said "I'm staring at the oddest thing... there is a bird in my bedroom, and I have no idea how it got there!" So of course, we went over there, and chased this bird all over his apartment till finally he was able to trap it under a towel and let it free outside :) I screamed a couple times cause the bird darted right for my head. We still don't get how it got there, all the screens are on and in good condition, and the doors have been closed... hm... last year some time, Butto opened the door to his apt. and was met by a small kitten... he still doesn't know how that go in either. I think his house reproduces random animals once in while....
Josie update tomorrow am...
