Katie and Andrew

So here a just a few of the pics from Katie and Andrew's wedding.... I hope Katie doesn't mind, as they haven't even seen the pics yet :) But I was working on them, and decided to share a few of them that I was experimenting with in Photoshop for the hell of it.

Whats new with us, you ask? Well, unfortunately Kevin's been pretty sick for the past week. He has strep and toncilitis and a really bad flu. He threw up for like 2 days straight... yeah I know, yuck. Yesterday, I hurt my knee again... I called my mom and she offered to come pick Aiden up and take him home with her for a few days until our house is a little less contagious, poor thing catches EVERYTHING that goes around and strep is not something to play around with. So Aiden is 96 miles away at Grandma and Grandpa's and it feels so wierd with him not here. I feel restless and totally lazy. But the doc said I need to stay off my knee and rest. He also told me not to work for a week, but I just laughed at him for that one and asked what my other options were. but hopefully I'll be up and runnin' around next week.

Kevin has to be in a parade on Saturday. East Grand Forks is having their "Jubilee 2007" all week, and that is where Kevin's clinic is, so he's gonna do some PR... if he's feeling better by then.

So there's your update, not that anyone reads my blog anymore anyways... and if you do, then you should POST A COMMENT!

I was playing with filters with this pic.... cool or does it just look like its a messed up picture? It's the diffused glow filter.

A new post, without pictures.. *GASP!*

So theres a lot of updating that needs to happen.

First thing, my sister is living with us now. She moved to Grand Forks, and works at the hotel with me too, which is cool. She's been a big help with Aiden too, we've had some time to go out for dinner and a movie. I'm really glad she decided to move here. :) Love to my lil' sis XOOXOOOOO

Aiden is sick. He's running a high temp of 103.2. Poor baby. We called Urgent care, not to bring him in, but to find out how high a temp has to get befre we should be concerned at his age, because everyone we asked didn't know. The doctor on call said 105. 105!! are you kidding me! people are declared brain dead at like 106!!! I knew he was okay at 102. I decided I was going to be concerned at 104. Screw tht doctor. I'm glad the tylonol has been able to control the fever. He has a little bit of a cough too, but he seems to just be really tired and uncomfortable. Kevin and I are getting to be pros at this whole sick baby thing, so I'm sure we'll all be just fine. I'm sure its what Isabella had last week too and she got better after a couple of days.

Butto (or Jason as some may call him I guess :) ) is in Kuwait now for training before he goes to Iraq. Before he left I told him not to die. and we all had a laugh and he said he would try not to. But the reality of him actually BEING there now is scary. And joking about it before he left doesn't seem so funny anymore. I'm sure that humor is how many people over there deal with having to be there for so long. I hope he's okay and comes home okay. Good LUCK!!!

I'm doing the photography for Katie and Andrew's wedding on Saturday! I couldn't be more excited! Not only to do their pictures, but because of the dance after the ceremony! OOOO FUN! Congrats guys! I'm sure your day will go PERFECT!

I was looking through my old posts the other day. My Doug!! I can't believe how much things have changed! Even in the last year. Who would have thought... hmph.

And if you didn't get the MY DOUG! Comment then you're more than a little behind on your Golden Brown... undate yourself at...

R-NO's Custom Metal Fabrication

Our friend Derek is going into his own business. The name speaks for itself, but he is a master welder... shut up Derek, you are a master welder. And he came to me with the exact idea and font, so I can not take credit for the design because he had it in his head I just tried my best to materialize his idea... I am however going to take credit for the kick ass cross hammers, they look awesome, thank you very much, I made it from an actual photo I took of his hammer. I rule. (as Doug would say) His las name is Arnaud... pronounced R-NO..... get it? okay good. Now we're on the same page here.

I just want to ad, that I opted to put the "custom metal fabrication" striking through the X hammers, but he didn't want to take attention away from the X itself because he'll use that has a logo by itself too. I like it this way the best I think.
