8 months old today!

Em, Jeremy, Kruz and Jordan came for a visit

Em and the fam came to GF last weekend for a softball tournament. It was really great to finally meet Jordan and see Kruz again. Jordan is only 5 days younger than Aiden so it was really fun to see them interact. They totally didn't understand what was going on, but they were super cute. I didn't get any pics of Kruz, which makes me sad because I was too focused on the babies.

Look at Jordans beautiful big brown eyes, he looks just like Kruz when he was that little. I hope we get together with them more often!

Alicia's b-day pics

I got the pics developed today. I just bought a crappy disposable to take to the bar. As you can see- we had fun. The bottom two are my favorite. These pics are mostly for Mom to see. Thought she'd get a kick out of it.

Calling it a night.

This should have been the last pic... ooops. This is me helping her to the car.

Starting out with a nice Cosmo....

Alicia's Big Bad 21st BIRTHDAY BASH!

I don't have all the pics back from her BDay yet, but I do have this one. THis is the obnoxious (but very thoughtful and yummy) cake my Mom got for her. Its the brightest b-day cake EVER. We had a lot of fun weloming my sister into the bar scene. Surprisingly enough, she was not the least bit hung over the next day. Thats after countless mixed drinks and several (maybe 4 or 5) shots of Tequila. Not that its something to be proud of, but she can drink a sailor under the table. I've never seen such a thing! She held her own, thats for sure.

In Aiden News: We're pretty sure he's teething. He's waking up MANY times in the night and we've all had a rough couple of night this week, but hopefully all this fussing will result in a couplc of teeth.

A Restless Night

Back from Vacation

We're back! We had a blast on our vacation! We went to the Minneapolis/St. Paul and took in the Mall of America and the Pompii Exhibit at the science museum. We didn''t spend much at all at the mall of america, everything is so over priced you just can't justify it. but Aiden got some new outfits :) Kelsey joined us at the museum and we all met up with Andrew and Katie for dinner afterward at a cute Irish pub type place downtown. Then we spent two days in Duluth. That is when I started not feeling that well. I came down with a vicious head cold that I'm still battling, but we still had fun there too. We went to Glensheen Mantion and ate at the revolving restraunt, which was very fun. By Thursday night we were in Fargo and I wasn't feeling well at all. I bailed out of the concert and Kevin went with Tab and Derek. I stayed in the Hotel and rented "Wild Hogs" Which was a huge waste of my 9.99 plus tax. Do NOT pay to view that lame ass movie! I regret not going to the concert because Kevin, Derek, and Tab got to meet both of the bands and talked with them for a short while. Murder by Death and Reverand Horton Heat. Plus it was Ladies night at the Venue and ladies drank for free and the guys got 2 for 1's. Sounds like they had a blast, but I don't think I would have made it, I was in a NYQUIL Coma by 11pm.

Tonight is my sister's 21st, so We're just getting ready now. Tomorrow we get to go to DL and pick up Aiden. Man, Do I miss my little guy! I can't wait to see him! I guess its good that I got this cold while we were away, hopefully I won't pass it on to Aiden.

The countdown begins....24 hours, and we'll be OFF

We have a busy week ahead of us... but a good busy. We're going on vacation. We're going to Minneapolis/St. Paul and Duluth. We have to change our planned route, for obvious reasons, but we're still very excited to go. I35W is the interstate you take to go from the Twin Cities to Duluth. I can't believe it collapsed. I've been obsessed with the news, and I can't believe how much worse it COULD have been if it wasn't under construction, or if the cars were moving instead of being bumper to bumper.... but we've all heard all the reports.... so I digress.

Tomorrow night we bring Aiden to Devils Lake and go out for Tab's birthday.
Saturday-we spend the night in Fargo, visit Amy and just hang.

Sunday we drive to Bloomington and do whatever when we get there.

Monday we go to Mall of America hopefully we can see Kelsey while we're around. Katie and Andrew are moving to the cities on Saturday, we're gonna try to see their new place too.

Tuesday we're going to St. Paul's science museum to take in the Pompii exhibit and then drive to Duluth, hopefully missing rush hour if we leave late enough.

Wednesday we're taking in all the touristy stuff in Duluth, like the peir on Superior and Glensheen's mansion. We're staying at the Raddison downtown with the rotating restaraunt on top.

Thursday we head back to Fargo and take in the Rev. Horton Heat concert.

Friday we'll be back in Grand Forks for my sister's 21st birthday! Saturday we pick up Aiden and Sunday we head back to GF. Its gonna be a busy week, but super fun. I haven't had a whole week of work off in a long time... since my maternaty leave I guess, but that wasn't very vacation like :)
