and then....

The day was going like any other day. blah blah blah... then I got some news so good that I felt like jumping up and down and squealing.... oh wait, I actually did that. Blake as my witness. My work situation just got a little better. I love my job, but there is a person there that makes me feel stressed. For no reason really, because he doesn't mean to stress me out and upset, but he checks up on the work I'm doing and calls me to "make sure everything is going okay" I feel like saying... um.. yeah, everything is fine... and if it wasn't fine, you'd be the last person I'd call, but thanks anyway asshat.

no, thats not nice. This guy is a nice guy, which makes it hard to not like him. He is so damn errogant and condiscending though, and that gets under my skin, especially because for some reason I think that HE thinks that he is better at everythng than anyone, so me trying to do "his" job that he is soooooo great at gets on his nerves... but I digress... he put in his notice today. good bye. bye bye. see ya later, don't look back, don't call us we'll call you.... and we're done.

I'm happy. But I feel a little bitty tiny bit bad for being SOOO happy about him leavin, but I'm happy because now I don't have to feel like a complete loser everytime I see him at work. He doesn't have to worry about what I did on my shift and if I got this or that done. If anyone is interested, we're looking for a weekend night auditor... anyone? I didn't think so.

Moving on... fast forward to about 7:00 PM Central Standard Time. The Place: Kevin's car on US HWY 2... The Destination: Budget Furniture... The Objective: To find a cheap couch for the living room. There we are driving. Then.... we heard it... thump thump thump thump thump... Kevin looks in his mirror at his back drivers side tire. What does he see, something sticking out of his tire. SO we pull into a gas station (instead of the GoodYear Tire shop on the OTHER side of the HWY??) and we get out... WTF... WTF!! ITs a freakin' wrench sticking out of the tire. a 3/8 size wrench.

"hmph.... what the hell?!" Is Kevins response. Mine is "who the f@#$ left a F@#$ing wrench on the highway?"

our jack doesn't work, we put the hazards on and carry on down the highway at 25 mph. We pull off to a service station and have the tire fixed for very cheap. $39.00 for a used tire and two bottles of break cleaner (which we've learned takes rust spots off of paint jobs... who would have thought)The guys were awesome about it, and I'm sure we'll go back for anything else we need.

The wedding this weekend went well. I haven't looked at all the pics yet, I'm procrastinating until tomorrow when I'm not so ADD. It was fun. I can't wait to print them to see how they really turned out.

Sunday Kevin and I went to the Fort Totten Little Theatre's production of Beauty and the Beast. In my opinion if you've seen the Disney movie... you've pretty much gotten your fill of Beauty and the Beast. The costumes were crazy, and they did really good, considering that lead for Belle had to quit the play last week, and her understudy (the one we saw preform) has only played Belle once. She did good. The original Belle is pregnant.

So that has been my last couple of days... in reverse order. The End.

holly crap a wrench! You'll have to hang it up as a reminder for dumb butts to not trow shit out onto the highway. :)

Pregnant?! Now that's funny.
Throw in a little happy dance for me, I still haven't forgiven that guy saying he liked Metallica-then cranking up Dolly Parton during his shift.

Who was playing Belle? I remember the paper saying something about the show not being played one night, but it didn't say why.

A wrench? That is really strange! Almost as strange as the things I found in my basement...but at least my surprises didn't even car trouble...which is always yicky. Enjoy work:)
