RENT

No, I haven't seen it. Broadway or otherwise... but I want to. But you know in a town that only have one movie theater... I'm not going to, I'm gonna have to wait until it comes out on DVD. The three movies playing in the theater now are "Chronicals of Narnia" (I laugh every time I say Narnia, cause its a funny word) "Harry Potter: Gayest Movie Ever" and "Yours, Mine, and Ours" So if you're a kid, then you have three movies to pick from, if you're an adult, you just plain suck.

So theres my rant. I want to see RENT the movie. Unless I want to drive 100 miles, I'm screwed. But I guess if Butto can drive that far to find an XBox360.... (no he didn't even get one) I guess I can drive that far to spend 9 bucks to see a movie.

Haha, Butto, you loser!!
When I build my theater, I will set aside a day for you & Karissa, and any other person that wants to see that big bunch of silliness on a big screen. How's that sound?

I think when it comes out on video we should watch it together. I mean we were planning to go see it together anyways since Doug and Kevin are losers. Oh, and we can hold hands the entire time too...

If I buy the large popcorn do I have a higher chance of scoring?

Harry Potter Rules you loser! lol
But seriously I do love Harry Potter.

And yes, the D.L theater does suck royaly. And theres a reason. And it actually has nothing to do with the people that run the theater. The problem is with movies that are limited releases like rent they have to commit to selling so many seats up front. And in a town like D.L thats never going to happen with a movie that isn't super main stream. D.L didn't even get walk the line which would be right up most old Johnny Cash fans alleys. I know it sucks.

Amber's right, it's kind of like a bidding thing for the theater. Even if the managers or operators are responsible, they can't really be blamed too much, they're just trying to get the most out of their business. But someone in DL should build a theater bigger than a 3-plex. I know it isn't that big, but I think it would still sell.

I don't care who is to blame. I remember living in Mayville and they only showed 1 movie at a time, and they were usually a couple months old. I completely understand how it's annoying as hell. Especially since April got to live in GF for awhile and was spoiled with the theatre's here. Blame on sister!!!

However, DL has comfier seats in my opinion and it's a few bucks cheaper. There was one theater I went to in forks and I could barely even sit in the seat it was that uncomfortable and like 8 bucks during the day. Well hopefully you'll be back living in forks full time soon. I think it will make you a lot happier.

Just to rephrase my last comment a little. I don't know if they're going to move or not (as to not start the whole moving drama, lol)but I'm hoping for your sake that luck goes your way and you get something really good in forks or a bigger town because you don't seem to be to much of a small town person.

you must have went to the crappy theatre. although i'm not sure what time of day you went where the tickets cost $8 because even at carmike the tickets don't cost that much at night.

I swear there was a theatre that charged that much. I can't remember where it was though. It was a couple of years ago. But hey if it's cheaper and there are comfie seats I'm all for it. I guess I just hit a crappy theatre.
