So I wake up, and it is raining... ew. Its cold too, and the weather peeps are saying its gonna snow. Usually the first snow of the season lightly covers the ground for a couple hours, then melts and its like it never happened. This year however, it is different. The first snow of the season comes hard. Blizzard hard. It didn't help that it rained... then sleeted... then snowed and blowed. So we have snow and mush on top of ice... the highways are closed, and we've been having brown outs until 9pm... when it just gave up and we lost power all together for about an hour. Its sad that we had to break into winter with such force, pity it is so windy cause that snow is just BEGGING to be made into a snow man... all sticky and stuff..
I left my car window cracked open last night on accident... so EVERYTHING in my car is SOAKED! I've never ever done that! Luckily Kevin went into work an hour later than usual so he was able to give me a ride to work (we work a block from eachother anyway) It is still soaked, I've tried towels, and I even let my car run for 25 minutes with the heat blowing on the seats... nothing is going to help. I'll just have to ride with a wet but for a couple of days. Till it gets nice out again and I can leave the window open for a while to air it out. Or bring it to a car wash to vacuum out the water. Silly me.
On a good note, Kevin and I had people over for dinner. Josie, Amadon, Amber (all the bloggers you know and love) and Butto came over and we cooked Cranberry Chicken (thanks to Karissa, it was yummy) Baked potatos and salad and yummy yummy chocholate chip cookies fresh from the oven for dessert. Luckily the electricity held out for the food to finish cooking! It was a lot of fun! Poor Josie, I've never seen such an uncomfortable pregnant woman before. :( I mean come on! Its been like a year!
I remember now why I hate North Dakota... its cold. But I'm not complaining to much, cause I choose to live here, some day I'm moving to a place thats warmer... but still has all 4 seasons.I have to have snow on Christmas.

Hi April
It's nice to see you are back blogging again. I guess it may be a little late for this suggestion but have you tried using a blow drier on it? Oh...and if you come over to the house we have that bissle carpet cleaner and it will suck up the water out of the seats and carpeting. But I'm guessing that it is dry enough to use by now. Sorry it took me so long to give you the suggestion.
