You know you're getting more adult like, when you are SUPER D DUPER excited about getting a BRAND NEW washer and dryer! LIKE ME! Kevin and I are now proud owners of Kenmore front loaders with pretty little buttons and a knob and a digital countdown to tell me exactly how much time is left for each load.. and I'm really really really really REALLY excited. I think I'm gonna wash ALL my clothes tonight!!!!!!!! No more fumbling down the street in negative 50 degrees or waiting in line at the laundry mat while a mother with 50 kids is washing 50 loads of clothes.... I just have to walk downstairs... and there ya go!
Anyway, I am officially done at the Comfort Inn in Grand Forks, and we are completely moved to DL to stay. My co-workers gave me a suprise party on my last day. I'm gonna miss them so very much, but I'm getting excited to start my new job next week.
We got back into DL yesterday, Kevin and I met up with Shelley (co worker from GF) here in DL at the casino and went to the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band concert. I hate country and only know of one of their songs (Fishing in the Dark) oh and Mr. Bojangles.... but she bought our tickets because we watched their 5 kids for a couple hours while they went to the Casino and the first concert. So you can't argue with free live music. We sat in the second row, and it wasn't that bad, I didn't like their type of music, but they played very well, and gave us a show well worth the $15 tickets.
Then today, Blake came down to DL to visit. Which is nice because it helps with the whole transitioning part... like taking a peice of GF with me for a couple days, a familiar face I guess. We went out to the lake and hung out there for a while, now we're getting ready to go to Sully's Hill Wild Life Refuge. We're gonna take in the auto tour and hopefully see us some buffalo or something. Then we're thinking if the weather stays decent we may BBQ.... mmmmmmMMMM.... I haven't gotten to do that all year so far!
I hope everyone is having a fantabulous week so far, tomorrow is FRIDAY and this weekend is Devils Run here in Devils Lake which is actually one of the regions larges gathering of classic cars. The weekend is jammed full of activities and there's a parade on Saturday, I'm not really all about classic cars but its fun anyway and the parade usually lasts a good hour and a half.
Enjoy your Friday tomorrow!
