Guess what I did today!

Well, you know that my friend Doug works with me now, well the reason is because there was this girl and she sucked, so we hired Doug to replace her. Only thing is, she didn't know she was fired. Our manager left town to go to a Choice Hotel Workshop thingy in Chicago and won't be back until Friday. The manager called me today and told me to tell this girl that she doesn't work there anymore... I was excited, I've never FIRED anyone before! I was to tell her this on Monday when she comes in to work her shift. Well she called me tonight to tell me that she was going to be late on Monday. This is funny because she is ALWAYS late, or calling someone to come work the second half of her shift, so this was the perfect opportunity for "oh, about your shift on Monday, Jan doesn't feel like you are working out well on the front desk, so you were taken off the schedule. If you have any questions, ask Jan next week" All she said was "oh, ok, whatever" That pissed me off cause I kind of wanted to argue with her, she should have BEGGED for her job back so I could yell at her and tell her all the bad stuff she did and why she was getting fired. Oh well, at least we don't have to deal with her anymore.

On a very very sad note, my good friend Amy is moving away. She got a manager job at Hot Topic in St. Cloud, MN. I've known her for 10 years. We have a lot of fun together, and I love her A LOT!! I'll miss her so much! She is one of my closest friends, I don't know what I'll do when she moves! I might actually cry, and I never really cry... but, it is good for her, good career move. She'll do great, and I'm happy for her that way. She just found out she has the job like two days ago, and she moves to the Cities in two weeks. That is not enough time for me to deal with this whole loss... Listen to me, like St. Cloud is thousands of miles away, it's like a 5 hour drive. I'll deal.
