Ewww....

So today at work (I work at the Comfort Inn as Front Desk Supervisor) I had to clean behind the dryers. A place that I am positive has not been touched for at least 4 years. The dust bunnies (more like dust MAMMOTHS!) were so bad, it was like a blanket over EVERYTHING all the knobs and plugs, and yeah can you say fire hazard. I had to take a vaccum and clean off everything. I was sneezing and coughing, and it was ugly. Then after I was done with that our manager had me scrub the sides of the pool (due to a malfuction in the pump/filter/doohicky we had a ring around the pool) I used these wipes, and although the word "wipe" doesn't give the impression of being able to hold flesh eating chemicals, they can. SO these wipes have this chemical that kind of smells like burning bananas. I wore gloves, but the chemical still got on my hand and now I think i have a mild chemical burn on my palm and fingers. But I didn't mind doing this crap work because it was a nice change of pace from the usual sitting behind the desk, dealing with the phone and cleaning the lobby/desk area, and doing the laundry. On a good note, all that icky work made the time go by really fast and when 3 came I felt like I actually accomplished something.

Cleaning can make the time fly by and on the bright side you can tell everyone your adventure about killing gigantic dust mammoths. :)
