Why... why.
I am not offended too easily when it comes to being a woman. I can take jokes pretty well. I'm all about strippers doin' their thing for a livin' and I don't get too upset when women act like idiots by pushin' up the boobs and wearing short skirts... because its not me, and they can do what ever they want if thats the image they like to portray... but why the hell do I feel offended by this Eminem video? I love it at the same time.. I love this song.. and I love the video... but I feel violated at the same time.... very confusing feelings. But here ya go... enjoy. Every line in the song is disgusting... yet I'm shakin' my ass in my chair... Eminem is a music genius...

GRRR. The Husband and I were heading to Sams Club and we were making a left turn on a considerably busy intersection without stoplights (I know, stupid) but there was a VERY impatient guy in a very large white truck behind us, he was so close he took up the whole back window, he was huge. Kevin made a comment "that guy is way too close" so he scooted forward, as did the asshole, and next thing I know I feel a big bump. That asshole nudged us with his incredibly large truck. Mind you we were in my car a 2000 Cavalier... oooo that made me so mad. we were waiting for ony about 15-30 seconds. Then the traffic broke, and we made our turn, I tried to get the guys plates but I couldn't see cause it was raining. Then, of course, Kevin and I played out what SHOULD of happen. We should have gotten out of the car with a bat and bashed in his damn windows and lights, or took an ax to the hood of his car. But then we decided that people that own big white trucks are probably big people, and we are not. But it was fun thinking of all the things we could have done.
Anyway. SO I think Mr. Pie doesn't like me because I'm pregnant. Seriously. He doesn't cuddle with me, he yells at me, he turns his back to me, and he doesn't suck on my hair anymore and he doesn't sleep above my head any more. He hates me. I swear, he knows whats goin' on and he wants nothing to do with me. I'm sure he's going to hate the baby, but I guess we'll just have to see.
I went to the eye doctor yesterday because my tear duct is still icky and not working right. He said it can be fixed with a surgery, but I can't do that because I'm pregnant, so I have to go back every 3 weeks or so and get it irrigated... I.E. Big needle in my eye. Not so happy about that.
It is May 1st on Monday... that will be exactly 1 month SMOKE FREE!! How very exciting is THAT!
Tomorrow marks the beginning of Week 7... our baby is officially a fetus. So thats pretty exciting... to me anyway. Not just an embryo anymore...oh no. I am told that I should be puking my guts out by now... and because I'm not, it looks like I may not get sick at all. I guess my mom never got morning sickness with me or my sister and thats another really good sign. I am noticing that everywhere I go, I see babies. I think I spot every baby in a 100 yard radius. I hear every baby cry.
Last night, we hung out with Amber, Ben, Tilly and Ren. So, yes, I can confirm that Amber is still alive and not missing as some may have thought, as she has not posted on her blog for so long. They made us their world famous (or it will be when I'm done telling everyone about it) "Ooooy Gooy Popcorn" A-MAZ-ING. This coming from one of the worlds largest popcorn fans.
So that was a very random post. I know, you laughed, you cried and now I'm leaving you with a sense of awe and amazment... I guess I'm just that good.

Suzie Q. Homemaker....
We've added another title role to our lives... not only are Kevin and I new parents to be... but we are now official HOMEOWNERS! Out of about 7 offers, we won! WOW.... I can't believe all that happened in one week... so now I can be barefoot and pregnant in the comfort of my own home. (one we own) I'm baking, I'm cooking, I'm decorating and I'm giving birth.... holy crap, I'm Martha Freakin' Stewart.
Look at how big that yard is... perfect for a swingset, (or a hot tub... says The Husband)
I'm still not regretting snagging this house up quick. We weren't planning on buying a house this soon, but our this one was just perfect. I know we're going to love it. Its better than the "starter home" we had in mind.
Now when the electrical box blows up, or tree roots grow into our plumming, or the roof leaks, we'll have only ourselves to blame :)

3 hour and $3,000 LATER.....
Today, there was a new house goin' on the market. So we set up a meeting with our realitor, Jerry, and met him at 7:30pm to take a peek at this house that just went on the market today. Well, there is already an offer from earlier in the day, so we knew it had to be good. I walked in, and OMG, what a cute house!! Its on the smaller side, but everything is freshly painted, and the kitchen is beautiful. It has ceramic tile. The living room and dinig room has original hard wood floor that is in very good condition. The bedrooms are medium size... the master bedroom isn't too small, but not as big as we hoped.. but we don't NEED a big room. There was a nursery too. There are three bedrooms, 1 1/2 bathrooms, finished basment with a very nice laundry area. A den. Its just soooooo cute!!!
The backyard is amazing. There is a 6ft privacy fence all around it. and it is huge. There is a beautiful mosaic cobblestone patio with a 2 car garage. I LOVE IT! I felt nervous coming into it because its in such high demand (they have 10 more people coming tomorrow) and I didn't want to just jump right in to the first house we look at. But when we walked in, we just knew it was our house. Its soooooo cute. I love it so much. I would never regret not looking at other houses, this one is perfect for us. PERFECT. We couldn't find anything wrong with the house.
SO we went back to Crary (Realitors office) and began the long process of making an official offer. Mind you, this is at about 8:30pm. We were there until 10:45pm. If you've ever bought a house... you'll know that this is not a simple process. I mean its not like we were BUYING it today, just putting in an offer, but OH NO... there is TONS of paperwork involved. Contracts galor. I can't count the number of times we had to sign our name. They're asking for $138.900. I don't know why, because honestly, we've seen houses half that nice for twice as much... but we're not argueing. Now, judging by the popularity and the fact that there was already an offer on the table... we were advised to go above the asking price because not only are we competing with the one offer today, but ALL the offers that will most definately come in tomorrow, all of which will be landing in the sellers lap in a big bunch together... ours and theirs... so we had to stick out. Then there was a whole bunch of legal talk... and insurance... and bank... and who pays who to where and why and disclosures... and yeah, I understand most of it, but its not neccessary to type it all out.
The house is in excellent condition. we know we love it. and so we knew we had to jump. no time to hesitate. What we did NOT know is that we had to pay some mooooola tonight... for part of the down payment. We decided to pay a little more than average because it jumps out at the seller, and besides if we do not win the bid... then we get all that money back. Its money we would have to pay sooner than later when it came to closing costs and downpayments.
I won't tell ya how much we offered. Thats non of your stickin' business. But Jerry said he thinks we have a fighting chance. I hope he is right. Judging by the sellers and the attitude of their realitor, it sounds like we may know as early as tomorrow afternoon if we are at least in the running.
wow, so now I can add mommy AND homeowner to the resume!!
This is a funny converstion I got at work today...
Caller: I applied for a job there, and I'm wondering if I got the job
ME: What is your name?
Caller: _____Powers.
ME: Well I'm sorry _____ but the position has been filled.
Caller: What? Why the hell didn't your manager call me back then? Is that how she treats her employees? Because thats really rude.
(Um... okay, soooooo glad we didn't hire her.. because she totally got a freakin' attitude. Seriously lady, you were applying for a JOB that works with PEOPLE... learn to communicte) it continues....
Me: um... no she isn't like that, but judging by your attitude I can see why you didn't get the job.
Caller: I was polite up until this point, I've called like 5 times, and no one told me that I wasn't hired.
Me: Well, like I said, the position has been filled so I guess you don't have to worry about it anymore huh?
Caller :FUCK YOU! *Click*
Me: LMFAO!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA...
seriously who the hell acts like that when they're trying to get a job... that they applied for only last week, the position was filled on Friday for crying out loud... she probably would have gotten a letter or somethin, but chill out lady. But I laughed because she was so freakin' stupid.

24 hour get-a-way
We went to Jamestown yesterday to see Em, Jeremy and Kruz. Last night we went out on the town...crashed a weddng dance that Em's sister was a Bridesmaid for... I actually got a lot anxious walking into that place... I kind of freaked out with all those people that I don't know, very loud and busy and at first I was ready to turn around and walk back outside, but once we sat in the back and started talking it was okay. Went to the bar and watched the guys play pool, and I didn't last too long... I think the whole "getting tired easily" thing is starting to kick in, because I called it a night at 10:30.
Today, we met Em and the fam and we went to see the "worlds largest buffalo" everything in Jamestown is called the buffalo something or other.. .its called the Buffalo City... so you get the point. For instance we went to "The Buff" bar last night. Anyway, they also have the "frontier village" there but that part isn't open yet for the season, so we played in the park and walked around, it was a beautiful day today so I'm glad we were outside for so long. Then we went back to their house and Em made a delicious lunch, and we left around 3-stopped in Fargo and had dinner with Liz and Erik and Emily. Emily is so big, she's getting ready to walk, she's very cute.
We got home, went grociery shopping to buy healthy food for me and baby, and now we're home and I'm tired, its been a long day.
The three hour drive to Jamestown yesterday and then three hour drive today gave me time to read some of the hundreds of books people have given me about pregnancy. THank you everyone who have given me books, they've helped and I find them VERY interesting. Em even had a binder full of stuff that the hospital had given her.
This week of pregnancy (6th) baby is about ¼ of an inch in length and triples in size this week! baby is now starting to show recognizable physical features and is completely enclosed in the amniotic sac. (crazy, my body totally made that all by itself.... well, and Kevin helped too!)
